So Mamma’s, It’s been a pinch-me kind of week here at Pippeta!
Our founder, Aimee Cestrone, was recently invited to No. 11 Downing Street to attend a special reception and networking event hosted by Rachel Reeves MP alongside other inspiring business leaders from across the UK.
The event, hosted by Rachel Reeves, celebrated small businesses making a positive social impact. Aimee was personally selected by Dr Marie Tidball MP, who first visited Pippeta HQ back in July as part of her initiative to spotlight purpose-driven brands leading meaningful change.
Supporting Families, Empowering Mums
During her visit to Pippeta HQ earlier this year, Dr Tidball and Aimee connected over their shared passion for improving maternity care, championing inclusion for parents with disabilities, and normalising breastfeeding in communities across the UK.
For Aimee, that conversation was a powerful reminder of why Pippeta exists, to make every parent feel supported and confident on their feeding journey. As you know support is at the heart of everything we do, from our super supportive online community, our helpful and informative resources and our offer of free lactation support with every pump purchase.
Speaking about the experience, Aimee Cestrone, Founder of Pippeta, said:
“It was such an honour to be invited by Dr Marie Tidball MP to No. 11 Downing Street this week, representing businesses and sharing how brands like Pippeta can help support families and normalise breastfeeding in the community,” said Aimee.
“Honestly, my first thought was, ‘Wait, me?!’ Mum of three, running a small business, juggling school runs and snack boxes… and now heading to Downing Street?! It was definitely one of those pinch-me moments, completely out of my comfort zone but I'm so glad I went.

A Shared Mission for Change
Since that first meeting, Aimee and Dr Tidball have continued discussions about how businesses like Pippeta can help shape a more inclusive, supportive culture for mums and families both locally and nationally.
Dr Tidball has also expressed interest in attending future Pippeta events to continue championing breastfeeding and maternal wellbeing alongside Aimee and the Pippeta team.
“To reconnect in such an incredible setting and talk about how small businesses can make a big difference for families felt truly special,” Aimee added. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity and for Marie’s continued work championing families, small businesses, and female entrepreneurs.”
Continuing the Conversation
At Pippeta, moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
Supporting mums doesn’t just mean creating trusted breastfeeding products, it’s about helping to change the conversation around motherhood, mental health, and community care.
We’re so proud to see Aimee representing the voices of all our real Pippeta parents and small businesses at such a high level and we're excited for what's to come as we continue to grow, connect and advocate for families everywhere.
