We don’t recommend reusing breast milk bags, as this can lead to contamination and bacteria growth. Our bags come in packs of 30, so you can store plenty of milk without worrying about reusing them.
Breast milk can be stored in a sterilised container or bag for up to 8 days in the fridge at 4°C, up to 2 weeks in the fridge's ice compartment, or up to 6 months in a freezer at -18°C or lower. Be sure to label the milk to keep track of its storage time.
The best way to defrost breast milk is by placing it in the fridge to thaw slowly. If you're short on time, you can place the unopened bag or bottle in warm water until it's fully thawed.
Breast milk can be drunk cold or warm. If your baby prefers it warm, place the bottle in a container of warm water until it's heated. Avoid using a microwave, as it can create hot spots that may burn your baby's mouth.
