- Cleaning Note: Wash this piece with hot, soapy water. It is not advisable to insert any object into the valve opening to clean it. This may tear or stretch the part resulting in poor suction.
The diaphragms and valves can stretch and degrade over time, impacting suction. Replace these every 2 to 3 months if you pump once a day, and replace every 6 to 8 weeks if you pump more frequently.
